About Viveve.

Independent health journalism built on honesty and respect for the reader's intelligence.

§ 01

Our mission.

Viveve exists to close the gap between what medical research actually says and what most people have the time — or the context — to read.

Health journalism has a trust problem. Too much of it is driven by press releases, affiliate revenue, and the need to fill daily content quotas. The result: readers who can't distinguish a well-designed clinical trial from a survey of 38 college students, and who understandably distrust everything they read as a consequence.

Viveve is our attempt at a different model. We write about health the way we'd want someone to write about it for us — accurately, without condescension, and without a product to sell you at the end.

§ 02

What we cover.

Viveve publishes across six health pillars, chosen because they represent areas where reader demand is high and high-quality, non-commercial information is genuinely hard to find:

  • Heart Health & Hydration — cardiovascular risk, blood pressure, hydration science, lipid management.
  • Women's Health — reproductive health, hormonal cycles, gynaecological conditions, fertility.
  • Nutrition & Weight — the evidence on diet, metabolism, weight management, and eating behaviours.
  • Hormones & Thyroid — thyroid disorders, adrenal health, hormonal imbalances, lab interpretation.
  • Sexual Health — sexual function, STIs, libido, pelvic health — covered plainly, without euphemism.
  • Aging & Wellness — healthy ageing, longevity research, joint health, cognitive preservation.

Within each pillar we publish both broad overview guides — designed to orient a reader who is new to a topic — and deep-dive articles on specific conditions, interventions, or research questions.

§ 03

Who reads Viveve.

Our reader has encountered a health question — their own, a family member's, a friend's — and wants an answer they can trust. They are not looking for reassurance or alarm. They want to understand what the evidence says, what it doesn't say, and what to do with that information.

They may or may not have a medical background. What they share is that they'd rather read something honest and nuanced than something designed to keep them clicking or anxiety-scrolling.

We write for them.

§ 04

Write to us.

We are a small editorial team. We read every message and reply to most of them.

  • Story ideas and reader questions — the best articles we've written started as reader questions. We take them seriously.
  • Corrections — if you find an error or outdated information, please tell us. We investigate and correct within 48 hours.
  • Press and partnerships — write to us and we'll respond within five business days.
